Preserved local commit 395a262 from an old standalone checkout on branch codex/preserve-label-query-filter before cleanup. Merged PR #1 supersedes this implementation with runs_on and repository-aware filtering, so this branch should not merge as-is. Review it for any behavior or tests absent from current main, port only missing pieces, then close this issue.
